British Liver Trust #LoveYourLiver Road Show

Alderman and Sheriff Alastair King DL was delighted to have recently cut the ribbon for the new #LoveYourLiver mobile unit for The British Liver Trust in Luton. Alastair has recently been appointed as Chair of the British Liver Trust.

More than one in five of us are at risk of developing liver disease and discovering if you are at risk at an early stage means that you can be effectively treated and change your lifestyle before serious problems occur. It also means that you can ask your GP for further tests if needed.

The Love Your Liver mobile screening and scanning unit event raises awareness for the importance of checking your liver health.
