As Sheriff, Alderman Alastair King DL organised a series of events at the Old Bailey, celebrating London as a factor in the success of some individual immigrant communities, and the successes and contributions of such communities to the City.

Black, African & Caribbean Communities Events

On Monday 11th September 2023, I was pleased to host a celebration of the contribution of the Black, African and Caribbean Communities to the City of London at the Old Bailey.

Muslim Communities Events at Eid Al-Adha

On Monday 3rd July 2023, I was pleased to host a Celebration of the Muslim Communities contribution to London at the Old Bailey, alongside The Rt Hon Lord Safraz of Kensington.

Sikh Communities Vaisakhi Event

On the 18th of April 2023, Alderman and Sheriff Alastair King DL held an event to celebrate the Sikh contribution to the City of London at the Old Bailey Grand Hall.

The event was held in celebration of Vaisakhi.

Jewish Communities Event

On 30th March 2023 Alderman and Sheriff Alastair King DL celebrated the Jewish contribution to the City of London with the Jewish Leadership Council (JLC) at the Old Bailey Grand Hall. The event was hosted by Sheriff King and the City of London Corporation, and sponsored by Regal London.
