It was a great privilege to host the State Banquet in Guildhall in honour of the French President Emmanuel Macron. The event highlighted the importance of strong UK-France ties and the ongoing commitment to deepening UK-EU cooperation - especially in financial services - to support open markets and economic growth across Europe.
