UK-Saudi Sustainable Infrastructure Assembly

The UK, renowned for its leadership in sustainable finance, project design, and risk management, is uniquely positioned to unlock the private financial capital and expertise needed to fund sustainable infrastructure around the world.

I had the honour of hosting the second meeting of the UK-Saudi Sustainable Infrastructure Assembly alongside the Saudi Minister of Investment, His Excellency Khalid Al-Falih. The Assembly is a trilateral partnership between the City of London Corporation, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, and the UK Department for Business and Trade, providing a vital platform for UK and Saudi businesses and policymakers to collaborate, exchange expertise, and unlock commercial opportunities.

The Assembly represents a new model of international collaboration - one that is cross-sector, commercially focused, and grounded in real projects, not just high-level dialogue, making it a template that could be applied globally.
